Abstract

Electrical machine with electro magnet as excitation system many problems out of which, less efficiency is a major one. Self excited dc machine has to sacrifice some power for excitation system as a result, power available for useful work become less. This problem can be solved to some extent whatever may be the amount , by using permanent magnet for the excitation system of dc machine and there by contributing towards the conservation of conventional energy sources which are alarmingly decrease day by day . Using of permanent magnet in the electrical machine helps in burning of less conventional fossil fuel and contributes indirectly in conservation of air-pollution free environment. With permanent magnet dc motor, the efficiency of the machine also rise up considerably. This paper is an effort to give a computer aided design procedure of permanent magnet dc motor.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic since the beginning of 2020 has changed all aspects of people's lives. The community must start a new life adaptation where the implementation of health protocols is not only mandatory but also a lifestyle trend. One of the new habits that many people are starting to implement is online shopping. This is an opportunity for MSMEs in Indonesia to be able to take this opportunity so that they can develop and sustain their business in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary for MSME players to be introduced to Digital Marketing. The goal of this study is to introduce the deployment of small and medium-sized enterprises in the MSME sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. This review takes a qualitative approach, using a literature review, to examine and solve research content issues. The results of the research show that digital marketing is very helpful for MSME players in Indonesia because with the various benefits that digital marketing has, it can increase the sales turnover of MSME players. However, digital marketing has not been widely applied to the MSME sector in Indonesia due to several factors, including not yet technological literacy, inadequate supporting facilities to Indonesia's geographic conditions which become obstacles. Therefore, researchers recommend a few simple things how to start a business with digital marketing, such as starting to determine marketing goals, marketing targets, determining the digital platform to use; determine the budget, and create content that can attract consumer attention. In this study, the authors also describe the added value obtained by customers who use digital marketing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the reasons for refusal to define and confirm the boundaries of the area in Nagari Sungai Buluh. This article is based on a qualitative case study conducted using in-depth interviews and observation data collection methods. The conflict between Nagari Sungai Buluh and Nagari Sungai Buluh Selatan has occurred since the issuance of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) number 45 of 2016 concerning the establishment and confirmation of village boundaries which mandates each local government to establish and confirm village boundaries. Based on the regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs, Nagari Sungai Buluh Selatan has determined the boundaries of the administrative area with the original village before the expansion, namely Nagari Sungai Buluh (main), this can be seen from the 2012 customary density decision letter of the nagari, but when it will confirm the boundaries These problems arise, one of which is not receiving the results of the initial agreement.

Abstract

In recent years, social media has become ubiquitous and important for social networking and content sharing. And yet, the content that is generated from these websites remains largely untapped. In this paper, we demonstrate how social media content can be used to predict real-world outcomes. In particular, we use the chatter from Twitter.com to forecast box-office revenues for movies. We show that a simple model built from the rate at which tweets are created about particular topics can outperform market-based predictors. We further demonstrate how sentiments extracted from Twitter can be further utilized to improve the forecasting power of social media

Abstract

Solar energy is transforming to be the promising renewable energy resource that could be used efficiently for human basic needs like cooking. This study presents the performance analysis of solar cooking instruments based on their geometrical aspects. The main aim is to find the best solar cooking device that can efficiently absorb heat reflecting from its surface. Here we evaluated the performance of parabolic type solar reflector and Scheffler type solar reflector in terms of its thermal efficiency and losses. The main dependent factor for this comparative analysis is the geometry of the reflectors with a diameter of 1.5 m and the radiation of the sun. For better reflectivity in both receiver and concentrator or reflector medium, stainless steel material is used. Depending on these factors, we have evaluated performance of both the reflectors and found satisfactory results. Theoretical and simulated results over various conditions prove that the Scheffler reflector performs well compared to parabolic collector.

Abstract

Leadership is a crucial desire for all kinds of organizations. If the answer to the question, “what is meant leadership to the people in corporate?” is explored the answer will be in variety and will give various perspectives of leadership. This is because leadership is something unique in every different unique situation. There are leaders in various organizations but all of them lead in their own different ways and styles and many times they are successful too. The reason for having different answers on leadership is that every superior lead in different way and every subordinate experiences different style and pattern of leadership and in many times also witnesses the success of the organization. Some define leader as who influences other and encourages them to work, others feel good leader is one who guides others, and some think leader is the one who empowers his/her subordinates. Leadership has continuously evolved because of situational changes like changes in external environment and/ or changes in internal settings of organization.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic degenerative disease characterized by an increase in glucose levels in the blood. Anxiety and sleep quality disturbances are problems that are often experienced by people with diabetes mellitus due to prolonged stressors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of psychoreligious therapy on anxiety scores and sleep quality scores in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in the Junrejo Health Center, Batu City. This study used a queasy experimental design with a pretest and posttest control group design. The number of samples was 36 respondents who were divided into the experimental group (psychoreligious therapy) and the control group (health education) each of 18 respondents. The sample selection used purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that psychoreligious therapy has ρ value < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the difference in anxiety scores and the difference in sleep quality scores before and after being given psychoreligious therapy, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. This study concludes that psychoreligious therapy is more effective than health education on anxiety and sleep quality in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
